Frank Q. Lucio, Sr., 98, of San Angelo passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
Viewing will be from 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Monday, April 1, 2024 at Robert Massie Funeral Home with the rosary at 6:00 PM. Mass will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Joey Faylona, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Mr. Lucio was born on October 4, 1925 in Granger to Fermin and Donsila Lucio. Frank married Petra Rodriguez on April 19, 1944. she passed away in 1990. Early in his career, he was a roofer in San Angelo before starting work at Long Mile Rubber Company in Dallas. He was a mechanic on many projects before retiring with over 30 years of service at Goodyear. After his retirement Frank went to work, part-time, for the family roofing company, Fermin and Sons roofing. He enjoyed watching game shows, the news, sports, and his beloved Dallas Cowboys. Frank was always smiling, having fun, and had a positive attitude.
He was preceded in death by five sisters; and four brothers.
Survivors include six children, MaryLynn Adams and her husband Robert of Dallas, Tillie Lopez and her husband Manuel of Dallas, Ruth Vasquez and her husband Benny of Los Fresnos, Yvonne Loredo of San Angelo, Frank Lucio, Jr. and wife Rosalinda of San Angelo, and Mary Elma Armijo and her husband Ruben of Cockrell Hill; two brothers, Fermin Lucio and Antonio Lucio and his wife Maria all of San Angelo; 17 grandchildren; numerous great grand, and great-great grandchildren.
