Tracy Rosson, aged 66, of Novice, Texas passed away peacefully on Monday, March 18, 2024, at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. Tracy was born on October 29, 1957, in Andrews, Texas, the beloved child of Robert Fred Shannon and Johnnie Mae Flowers Shannon.
Tracy was the most fiercely loving person to all the lives she touched. Her beautiful smile lit up the entire area she was in, her laugh carried throughout whatever vicinity she was in. Family meant the world to her. She was the most amazing mother, always wanting to help in any way she could, offer encouraging words, give advice, or whatever was needed. She was just so full of grace and love, and we will miss that dearly.
But, as amazing a mom she was, her favorite title was Gigi because her grandbabies meant the world to her. Nothing made her happier than spending the day shopping, getting pedi's, and just outright spoiling them, even if it was overboard! Gigi loved having family get togethers, cooking for everyone, and hanging out with all her kids and grandkids. She was a friend and a mother to all that she met.
The root of love for her family came from her love for Jesus. She'd be the first to admit she was a free spirit, but her faith was firmly in Christ, and she was serious about living life His way. She was a faithful wife of ten years to Kerry Mark, and they had many wild adventures together. They loved spending time at their ranch together, traveling, and being with family and friends.
She loved a good book and could spend hours reading with her cat Quanah, who she swore talked to her. Amazing mother, Gigi, wife, friend who will be missed by all. She was a true earth angel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother T.J. Shannon, and sister Neva Bufkin. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving and devoted husband, Kerry Rosson; children, Jessica Wichers, Shane Renfro, Jeff Renfro, and stepchildren Anna Smith, Rob Rosson, Caleb Rosson, and Addison Rosson; grandchildren Kloe, Kylee Coleman, Ethan, Elizabeth, and Eli Smith, Brooks, Tessa, and Jayton; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Friends are invited to visit with that family 5-8 p.m., Friday, March 21, 2024, at Winters Baptist Church 104 W Truett St, Winters, TX 79567. A second visitation will be held the following day, 10-12 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2024, at Winters Baptist. Funeral services will begin at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Russ Frasier officiating. Burial and committal will immediately follow at Count Cemetery.

Tracy’s legacy of love, faith, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace.
