Alicia G. Elizondo, age 77, of San Angelo, Texas passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024. She was born April 24, 1946 in San Angelo, Texas to Willie and Margarita "Maggie" Elizondo. Spending her life here in San Angelo, Alicia graduated from Central High School.
Alicia worked for Verizon and was a proud member of Communications of America (CWA.) Alicia was very interested in her family's heritage and spent her spare time learning about her ancestors and putting together their genealogy. Her contribution in history to the Jaques Family Hotline will always be cherished.
Alicia is preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents who were very special to her, Guadalupe and Isabel Elizondo, as well as Francisco and Vicenta Garcia; her sister, Virginia Flores; her nephews, Larry Asebedo, Oscar Luna Jr. "Little O", Jason Chappa, and her brother-in-law, Oscar Luna.
Those left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Connie Asebedo and husband George; Bobby Elizondo and wife Linda, Rosario Luna, Hope Rodriguez and husband Albert, Lucia Elizondo, Danny Elizondo and wife Laura; her beloved nieces and nephews, Mike, Gabriel, Nicole, Matthew, Stephanie, Jessica, Jay, Cathy, Victor, Bobby, David, April, Diamond, Ernest, Eric, Gracie, AnnMarie, MarcDaniel, and JohnAdan; as well as 7 great nieces and 13 great nephews and 2 lifelong friends, Linda Gonzales and Edna Aguirre whom she loved dearly.
The family would like to send a special "thank you" to Cathy, MarcDaniel, and JohnAdan (who was very special to her) for always being there for her.
Per Alicia's request, there will be no services. Alicia will be missed by the people that knew her and loved her. We are so grateful for everything she taught us and everything she did for us.
