Shirley T. Graham, 85, passed away on March 8, 2024, in San Angelo, Texas. She was born on November 4, 1938, in Cheyenne, Oklahoma to John Roy and Irene Throckmorton. She graduated from Sayer, Oklahoma in 1957. She married Edgar Sherwood Graham in Childress, Texas on September 10, 1957, and together they had six children.
Shirely is preceded in death by her husband, her daughter, Debra Suzanne, her granddaughter, Shawna Seale, her grandson, Brandon Graham, and two sisters and one brother.
Shirley was a devoted and proud mother, a hard worker, and a valued friend. She was an excellent seamstress, quilter, and a top fan of her children and grandchildren’s sports events. Shirley will be remembered as a cherished mother and grandmother.
Shirley is survived by her children, RD and Necia Graham of Del Rio, Texas, Sherri and Russell McDonald of San Angelo, Texas, Donald and Becky Graham of Mineola, Texas, Darla and Tony Peter of Tuscola, Texas, Jon and Lisa Graham of Midland, Texas; her grandchildren, Christina Smith of Reform, Alabama; Jacob and Christy Graham of Odessa, Texas; Heather Helmers of Sheffield, Texas, Jamie and Chris Carson of Tyler, Texas, Scott McDonald of San Angelo, Texas, Will McDonald of San Angelo, Texas, Tanner Graham of Mineola, Texas, Ryan and Elaine Peter of Raleigh, North Carolina, Andrew Peter of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Lauren Peter of Garner, North Carolina, Brooke and Justin Smith of Midland, Texas, Dr. Hunter Graham of Lubbock, Texas, Gunner and Lindsey Graham of Midland, Texas; 17 great grandchildren, one sister, Diane and John Bullard of Amarillo, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Shirely requested that she be laid to rest along side her husband, her daughter, and her mother in Pampa, Texas. A graveside service for her family will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, Shirley would prefer a donation to any school or youth sports organization of your choice.
