Robert "Bob" Allan Weintraub, aged 81, peacefully passed away on February 28, 2024, in San Angelo, TX. Born on July 29, 1942, in Providence, RI, he was the cherished child of Joseph and Lillian Weintraub. Bob completed his high school education at Cranston High School East in Providence, RI, before pursuing an associate degree in general studies. Serving his country with pride, he dedicated two years to the United States Army.
Relocating to San Angelo, TX, Bob embarked on a fulfilling journey. He contributed his time to Shakey's Pizza from 1971 to 1996, and later became a part of HEB, where he served for 28 years until 2023.
Bob found joy in simple pleasures, partaking in hobbies such as shooting guns, savoring action-packed movies, and exploring his passion for history. With a contagious sense of humor, he brightened the lives of those around him, always ready to share a joke and create fond memories.
Bob's legacy lives on through his loving adoptive family: Mary Necessary, Theresa and Ector Troncoso, Charlene and Herbert Torres, Cecil and Jackie Necessary, Micala and Alex Volk, along with their son Wyatt; Ector Jr.; Herbert Jr. and Angelina Torres, with their son Rio; Joseph and Laura Torres, with their children Andrew, Emma, and Lily; and Michelle and Brady Burdick, with their children Clay and Jake, Evan Troncoso, Lydia and Christopher Kelly, with their children, Aurora, Kairi, Trinity, and Everly.
In honoring Bob's memory, let us cherish the laughter he shared, the wisdom he imparted, and the love he generously bestowed upon us all.
