Susana Segura Perez, 84, passed away Monday, December 11, 2023, in New Braunfels with her family at her side.
Public Viewing will be from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM with the Rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM Friday, December 15, 2023, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass will be at 12:30 PM Saturday, December 16, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Lazaro Hernandez, pastor officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Mrs. Perez was born March 6, 1939 in Del Rio to Alberto and Guadalupe Segura. Susana married Gabriel Perez on May 12, 1956 in Del Rio. He preceded her in death on September 2, 2020. Susana has been a resident of San Angelo since 1961. She worked at Ethicon a Johnson & Johnson Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1994. Susana was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church serving as RCIA, Eucharist minister, and CCD teacher. She loved watching her daughter Cindy play softball, going to Christian retreats, and reading her Bible. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, watching their various activities, and scratching off lottery tickets. Susana was an avid San Antonio Spurs fan.
Survivors include her four daughters, Belinda Constancio and her husband Ramiro, Raquel Perez-Colvin and her husband Eric, Rebecca Lopez and her husband Pete, and Cindy Perez; seven grandchildren, Anthony Constancio, Joseph Constancio, Chris Colvin, Monique Talavera, Stephen Talavera, Gabriel Lopez and wife Nazareth, and Carol-Ann Macy and husband Ty; and by seven great grandchildren, Joseph Constancio Jr, Cierra Constancio, Alana Lopez, Neomiah Lopez. Gabriel Lopez, Gabriella Lopez, and Greyson Lopez; two brothers, Hector Segura, and Victor Segura; three sisters, Margie Avila, Frances Flores, and Sylvia Segura; a special aunt, Mary Segura; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Susana was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Mark Andrew Constancio; a brother, Albert Segura; and a sister, Rosalinda Berrier.
