Together they raised 4 wonderful children; Iris, Efrain Jr., Lorena and Aaron. Efrain was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and fisherman of men who knew no stranger. Efrain served the Lord in several ministries as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, preaching in Mexico missions, and Royal Ranger leader. He worked at Monarch Tile, Levis Strauss, Lowe's Lumber and Fort Concho San Angelo ISD. His favorite past times were woodworking, gardening and he loved to go fishing and feeding the ducks with his grandchildren. He loved spending time with his family. He especially loved to spend time in God's Word and he left with a desire to preach one more time.
He leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory, his wife Bertha Lopez; two daughters, Iris Ruiz and Lorena Lopez both of San Angelo; two sons, Efrain Lopez, Jr. and wife Melissa and Aaron Lopez both of San Angelo; and Monica Taylor, whom he loved as a daughter from San Angelo; eight grandchildren, Logan, Alyssa, Mario, Briana, Chloe, Rogelio, Jayden and Mason; one great-grandchild Cleo; one brother, Gavino Sr. and two sisters Maria and "Gelo". Efrain also leaves behind numerous family and friends that will deeply miss him.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Tomas Lopez.
Efrain G. Lopez's legacy of love, dedication and cheerful spirit will forever live in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. "Well done, good and faithful servant; .... Enter into the joy of your Lord." Matthew 25:23
