Herminia "Mina" Flynn

Herminia "Mina" Flynn, 76 passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022, at her home surrounded by family.

Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Frank Berthold, officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mina was born May 6, 1946 to Dimas and Julia Rico in Ballinger. Mina was a San Angelo area resident. She married James Flynn on May 21, 1966 in Ballinger. He preceded her death on May 18, 2018. Mina was a homemaker, member of the West-Angelo Church of Christ. Mina loved traveling, baking, and crocheting.

Survivors include her daughter, Marie Flynn-Showers and husband Gerald of Columbia, South Carolina; two sons, Michael Flynn and Joseph Flynn both of San Angelo; two sisters, Helen Lopez of Ballinger, and Monica Reed and husband Michael Reed of San Angelo; two brothers, Joel Rico of Hurst, and Frank Rodriquez of Ballinger; 3 grandchildren, Mckennzee Tramell and husband William of Elgin, South Carolina, Morgan Anderson and husband Ryan of Elgin, South Carolina, and Jackson Lennox of Barnegat, New Jersey; two great grandchildren, Cooper and Darla. Mina was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, John Soto, and Felix Rico; and a sister, Emma Aguilera.
