Phyllis Jeanine "Jean" Haynie Eady, 92, passed away Friday, July 8, 2022, in San Angelo.
Public viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Dr. Chris Curran, pastor of Southland Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Mrs. Eady was born October 25, 1929 in Amarillo. Jean married Herman Eady on June 15, 1948 in San Angelo. He preceded her in death on October 20, 1986. Jean worked for many years for Wallace Laboratories and she retired from Western Towers in 2009. Jean enjoyed traveling to Colorado, watching baseball, and playing card games. Jean was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her two sons, Joe Eady and wife Cindy, and Monti Eady and wife Lisa both of San Angelo; three grandchildren, Sheila Jackson and husband Rick, Justin Eady and wife Angela, Ashley Paloutzian and husband Kyle; five great grandchildren, Jeremy Jackson and fiance Annie and Hudson, Cayce Hight and husband Chase, Braden Paloutzian, Ashlyn Paloutzian and Hattie Mae Paloutzian; a sister, Vickie Beck and husband Buddy; and many loved cousins, nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey and Estelle Haynie; a brother, Lee Haynie; and a sister, Dorothy Jo Smith.
The family would like to thank Baptist Retirement Center for their compassion and care for their Mom for 13 years.
