Jerry Lee Williams, 78, of San Angelo, TX, passed away on July 8, 2022. He was born on July 22, 1943 in San Angelo to Billie and Ollie Williams. Jerry attended McCamey High School and graduated in the class of 1960. He then went on to begin his career in the Oil and Gas industry, working for Phillips Drilling Company as a Rig Worker. Jerry married Marie Hester in 1963 and had 3 children. He was a proud member of the Masons and Shriners and had a passion for yard work, he will always be remembered for his love of golfing, fishing and clowning for the Shriners.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Ollie Williams and grandson Erik Galindo. Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Tammy Sandoval, Shawn Cameron and LaLanya Gray; his brother, Dub Williams; his grandchildren, Mandy Valdez, Christopher Galindo, Lance Williams, Kyra Reyes, Jamyaleigh Gray and Junior Gray; his great grandchildren, Erik Galindo, Jonathan Valdez, Jaylee Williams, Leah Williams, Camron Williams and Connor Williams; and his nieces, Lori Reagan and Leslie Williams.
A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2022 in the chapel of Johnson’s Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Galindo, Lance Williams, Eric Galindo, Junior Gray and Jonathan Valdez. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a memorial donation to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
