Juan "Jesse" Gomez

Juan "Jesse" Gomez, 63, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Public viewing will from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, May 7, 2022, with Chaplain Gary Allen, chaplain of Interim Hospice, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. Gomez was born March 9, 1959 in Del Rio to Manuel and Manuela Gomez. Jesse has been a lifelong resident of San Angelo. Jesse married Odelia Gevara on May 22, 1982 in San Angelo. Jesse's hobbies include model hot rods, woodworking, and car shows. Jesse worked for FleetPride in delivery for 3 years. Earlier in life he did appliance repair.

Survivors include his wife, Odelia of Eden; two sons, Captain Christopher L. Gomez and wife Monica of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and Richard J. Gomez of San Angelo; three grandchildren, C.J., Ryan, and Oliver; three sisters, Elsi Munoz and husband Jesse, Berta Stakes all of San Angelo, and Martha Gomez of Abilene; many special nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Lee Ray Gevara of Georgetown, Rudy Gevara of Eastland, and Ralph Gevara of San Angelo. Jesse was preceded in death by his parents.

Honorary pallbearers will be, Jesse Munoz, Jr., Eric Gomez, Daniel Munoz, and Justin Gaston.
