Richard Dean Proctor, Jr (Deno) passed from this life and joined his baby girl, Jaclyn, on February 23, 2022. Deno was born May 18, 1957, to Richard Dean Proctor, Sr and Anna Rose (Spieker) Proctor in San Angelo, Texas. Deno graduated from Lake View High School and began his lifetime career as a master mason. He owned and operated Proctor Masonry. Deno married the one true love of his life Cornell (Strube) and they made many happy memories during their years together.
Deno enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and playing golf and fulfilled many items on his bucket list including a trip to Sturgis in August 2021. Deno was preceded in death by his father Richard Dean Proctor, Sr, and his daughter Jaclyn Proctor. Deno is survived by his loving wife, Cornell, two sons Dustin and Ryan Proctor, grandson Bryce Proctor, and was lovingly known as Gramps to many more. He is also survived by his mother Anna Rose Proctor, two sisters Teresa Preston (Ken), Gayla (Adolph) Holik, mother-in-law Shirlene (Neal) Doss, sisters-in-law Melinda Strube, Charlotte Doty, Michelle (Allen) Gilbert, MJ (Jeff) Dever, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Deno was truly loved by many!
Viewing will be 9 AM to 6 PM and family visitation will be from 6 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Shaffer Funeral Home in Grape Creek. Celebration of life will be Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at 10 AM at the San Angelo Cowboy Church. Graveside laying-to-rest will follow at Shaffer Cemetery in Grape Creek.
