Ronald Ray Brown, 75, died unexpectedly Sunday, February 20, 2022, in the home, of natural causes.
He was born September 25, 1946 in Taylor County the son of Betty Liner Maserang and Estle Brown. Ronnie graduated from high school in Lubbock. Following graduation, he served with the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. He married Jane Hogue Brown in 1982. They celebrated 40 years of marriage on February 10, 2022. He was employed in the West Texas oilfield industry for 52 years. He loved to fish with his grandsons, spend time with family, and care for his dogs.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Brown of the home; his son, Shane Dupuy, of Oregon; step-children, Trina Rodgers and husband Kerry, of San Angelo, Donnie Lawler and wife Lisa of Lubbock, and Sandy Clifton and husband Jim of San Angelo; brother, David, Maserang, and wife Ginny of Georgetown; sister, Pam Goldman of Arkansas; four grandsons, Matt Rodgers, Josh Hall, and wife Heather both of Midland, Jason Hall, and wife Tamara of San Angelo, and Adam Rodgers, and wife Heather of Montgomery; and one granddaughter, Delana McGinty of Lubbock; nineteen great-grandchildren; he was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, Charles Maserang; brothers, Mark Maserang and Jerry Maserang.
