Matt was born in Jonesboro, AR on July 13, 1975, to Edward and Marsha Housley. In 1995, Matt moved to Dallas and started working for Housley Communications on the construction crew. He worked his way up at Housley Communications to become a Vice President, having 28 years of service.
Matt loved to hunt and fish with his dad and son. He was a proud father and had many cherished memories with his son Grayson. He served on the boards of West Texas Boys Ranch and Sonrisas Trails.
