Savas R. Soto, III, 55, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021, in Long Beach, California.
Public viewing will be from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM and the Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Deacon Mike Lopez, officiating. Mass will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Joey Faylona, officiating. Cremation will follow under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Mr. Soto was born March 9, 1966 in San Angelo. Savas was a 1984 graduate of Central High School. He attended Angelo State University. Savas has been a resident of Long Beach, California for 30 years. He has worked for Delta Airlines as a service representative at LAX International Airport for 30 years. Savas loved to hang out with family and friends. He never met a stranger and was the life of the party. Savas had an infectious smile and would help anyone in need. He enjoyed barbecuing.
Survivors include his parents, Mary Ellen and Savas Soto, II of San Angelo; three sisters, Amanda Soto of Austin, Kathy Soto of Portland, Oregon, and Linda Mata and husband Mike of San Angelo; two brother, LeRoy Soto, and Gustavo Soto both of San Angelo; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
