Cody was born in Tyler, Texas on November 18, 1964 to Bill and Helen Allison. He was raised in Lefors and Pampa and was a 1983 graduate of Lefors High School. He received his bachelor's degree in business finance from Cameron University in Lawton Oklahoma. In the summer of 1989, he met Kim Scott and they were married 6 months later on January 5, 1990. They spent 31 beautiful years together enjoying their 5 children and 11 grandchildren.
Cody was a firm believer and follower of Jesus Christ. The most important thing to him was for everyone he met to know the love of Christ. Anyone who knows him can attest to that.
Cody worked in the car business with his dad, Bill from a very young age until 1999 when he moved to San Angelo, Texas and started his own. He owned and operated Cody's Cars and Trucks for many years before moving to Tennessee where he then owned and operated Mr. Transmission/Milex. It had been a long-time dream of his to move himself and his family to Tennessee to enjoy the mountains and outdoors.
Cody was an avid golfer. Most days of the week you could find him out on the course with his friends. On Saturdays he even scheduled tee times around the Longhorns game. But Sundays were always set aside for church. and then maybe some more golf. He was very involved in church, teaching, ministering, and sharing the gospel. He truly loved his wife like Christ loves the church and he believed his children were a heritage from The Lord. He said they were the things he cherished most but maybe he loved being Pappy just a little bit more.
Cody will be greatly missed by friends, family, and all who knew him. The impact he made on their lives will last for an eternity.
Survivors include his wife, Kim Allison; two sons Caleb Allison and Jared White and wife Jessica; three daughters Ashley Garcia, Mary Chreene and husband Cody, and Abigail Stewart and husband Ty; eleven grandchildren Lincoln, Savannah, Brylie, Zeke, Abel, Lake, Madilyn, Lailyn, Landrick, Harlynn, and Jackson; his mother, Helen Allison; a brother Tyler Allison and wife Howdi, and a sister Stephanie Allison; and a special friend, Manny. Cody was proceeded in death by his father, Bill Allison; his grandparents Marvin and Luella Allison and Claude and Myrtle Brock.
