Cindy Darnell Baxter, 52, of San Angelo, Texas passed away August 2, 2021, in her home.
On July 24, 1969, Cindy was born to David and Brenda (Brown) Darnell in San Angelo, TX. She met the love of her life, Larry Baxter, in 1997, married in 2010, and together they shared a fun and adventurous life together. Cindy had an extensive career in many different fields, from her start as a supervisor at a women’s detention facility to a truck driver, and then a beautician to a postal worker, she could truly do anything she put her mind to. Her final career included being part owner in Larry Baxter Construction.
She worked hard throughout her entire lifetime and excelled in all her endeavors. Cindy celebrated the holidays with such enthusiasm, ensuring a big and festive easter, dressing up for every Halloween, cooking large meals for thanksgiving and giving so much during Christmas, her favorite holiday. She had a young spirit and knew how to keep life fun. Cindy was a strong and tough woman, yet at the same time, she had such a kind, loving and generous soul. She would do anything for anyone, family, friends and even strangers. Family was so important to her, always looking out for what was best for everyone. Cindy was also one who never backed down and was never scared to share her opinion. She listened, she observed, and she spoke up when she felt it was needed; sometimes even if it wasn’t, but she always had the best intentions for her family behind her words and actions. She was so strong and so loving. Cindy was an enormous piece of the family and will be greatly missed.
Cindy is survived by her Husband, Larry Baxter; three Sons, Chad Walter and wife Emily, Guyman Richards and wife Brittany, Rance Richards and wife Hayley; two Step Daughters, Cheryl Bible and husband Brandon, Natalie Harris and husband Dale; Parents, Brenda Owen, David Darnell and wife Katy; two brothers, Jody Darnell and wife Victoria, Monty Darnell and wife Kristi; Grandchildren, Mckayla and Cooper Walter, Cannon and Caylee Harris, Jordan and Jaxon Bible, and Avi “Sweet Pea” Leal; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
