Alfred Garcia Mendoza, Sr. passed away peacefully on May 22, 2021 at the age of 68.
Survivors include his children, Alfred G. “Peewee” Mendoza, Jr and wife Corina, Andrew “Drewy” Mendoza, all of San Angelo, TX, Adam “Chito”, Erik “Peeper” Mendoza of Canyon, TX, Amanda “Mandi” Mendoza of Canyon, TX. Belinda Neira and Husband Lupe of San Angelo, TX, 19 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, siblings, Richard Mendoza of Amarillo, TX, Miguel G. Mendoza, of San Angelo, TX, Mary Estrada of Dumas, TX, Gracie Zubia of Dumas, TX, Vivian Martinez and husband Frank of Amarillo, TX, step-mom, Alejandra Mendoza, half-brother’s Jose Alberto and wife Lesly, of Portales, NM, Benito Mendoza and wife Christina of Clovis, NM, Martin Mendoza and wife Tonya of Portales, NM, and step-sister, Gloria Ann Rodriguez and husband Richard of Portales NM; aunt's, Candy Mendoza of San Angelo, TX, Fernanda Garza of Sweetwater, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.
Preceding him in death is his parents, Gavina V. Mendoza and Miguel C. Mendoza, siblings, Thomas Mendoza, Antonio Mendoza, Victor Mendoza, Catarina “Katie” Gonzales, Maria Mendoza, Christella Mendoza; niece, Lisa Martinez, step-brother, Juan Mendoza, and granddaughter, Sonia Mendoza.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Harper Funeral Home at 6:00PM. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Harper Funeral Home at 10:00AM with burial to follow at Belvedere Memorial Park.
