Elnora White Turner, or better known as "Nora" went home to be with the Lord and Savior on February 2, 2021.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 12, 2021 at Lillie Street Church of Christ at 10:00 AM. Burial will be at Lawnhaven Cemetery. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Nora was born on March 22, 1932 in Red River County, Texas to Legusta Dixon and Elliot White. She was one of three girls born to them.
While young, Nora relocated to Cisco, Texas and then later to San Angelo where she lived a long, pleasant life. Nora became a faithful member of the Lillie Street Church of Christ until her health declined. At that point she became a resident of Cedar manor Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.
Although she was known by very few people, those who had the pleasure of knowing Ms. Turner would all agree that she was a joy to be around. Her smile and delightful personality could fill an empty room. Even after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019, Nora refused to let anything keep her from smiling, laughing, dancing, and celebrating life. Her strength and cheerfulness left a mark on the hearts of all her family and friends, and she will be deeply loved and missed.
Elnora is preceded in death by her parents, her two sisters, Emma Keno and Suerulla O'Connors and her only child, Ella Sue Turner.
She is survived by two nieces, Glinder D. Keno Green and Susan L. Keno Jones as well as a host of other great nieces and nephews, cousins, and special friends.
The family of Ms. Turner would like to thank the following for their support and care, Robert Massie Funeral Home, Cedar Manor Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, Shannon Medical Center, the members of Lillie Street Church of Christ, Meals for the Elderly and HOSA.
