"How the mighty have fallen in the midst of the battle! -How the mighty have fallen,
And the weapons of war perished!"
2 Samuel 1:25-27
Today we mourn the loss of a brave warrior in the ranks of the gospel. Ignacio Hernandez Yado who was born in a humble Tamaulipas Mexico on January 7, 1936, and after meeting Jesus Christ as his savior, dedicated his entire life entering the ranks of the ministry in 1957 where he gave his body and soul to his savior. While serving in the ministry he married Dina Trevino, together the two continued to preach and fight for the salvation of souls. From this marriage their children were born, Ignacio Jr, Dina Esther, Ana Lidia, Guillermo Alfredo and Loida Mabelit; and so all united worked for the Lord by pastoring various churches and overseeing districts. He served tirelessly in the lord's work until sickness came upon him, and still, he continued to shepherd until his strength was exhausted.
His longing was to preach upon an altar until the end of his life, but it was not so, as he became bedridden. It came to pass on January 13, 2021 the Lord called him to his presence. Today he enjoys complete health praising his creator. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; five sisters and three brothers.
Without a doubt and with pride we can say that he rests in peace next to his Lord whom he loved and served for 65 years.
