Juanita was born January 26, 1947, to her parents German and Francisca Huichapa in Salamanca, Guanajuato, Mexico. In 1978, she moved from her home in Guanajuato, Mexico to Tom Green County. Soon she met Alvaro Juarez Sr. and the couple were married on December 12, 1979.
Juanita was humble and remained true to the traditional values instilled in her as a child. She was a quiet soul who was a devout Catholic. She loved caring for her family and would often greet family and friends alike with delicious home cooked meals. Juanita enjoyed the simple things in life such as family and flowers. She appreciated the beauty in all things, especially in the lives of her grandchildren, from whom she received so much joy.
She was a fierce warrior who battled her illness head on. Through ten years of dialysis, a kidney transplant and the loss of her legs, she never once complained nor gave up. Juanita was an inspiration to those around her.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband Alvaro Juarez Sr. on August 24, 1996; and by several siblings.
She is survived by her two sons, Alvaro "Al" Juarez Jr. and his wife Gloria, Orlando Juarez and his wife Jennifer; her sister, Angelina Rodriguez and her husband Tomas; her brother Guadalupe Huichapa; and her cherished grandchildren, Anthony, Kaylie, Kevin, and Adalyn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4
