Jeffrey A Ditty, 28, of San Angelo, TX. Loving son, brother and uncle went to be with the Lord, Sunday, Aug. 2, 2020 in San Angelo. Jeff fought a long hard battle with depression and addiction. The Lord seeing him tired and weary, decided to take him home to stop his pain and suffering. Jeff was born October, 1991 in Clarion, Pennsylvania to Dennis O. Ditty and Arlene J. Stoyer. So grateful for the 28 years that we had with him and the privilege it was to love him and see his accomplishments.
He graduated in 2010 from Mooresville high school in Mooresville, IN. Jeff's accomplishments during and after high school were, Core Fourty Honors, Certified Firefighter, EMT, First Responder, CDL license and had earned 24 college credits. Studied Homeland Security and Public Safety at Vincennes University in Indiana.
He always showed his gentle heart and was always ready to help anyone. He enjoyed gaming with his friends and listening to country music that touched his heart and soul. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He worked as a Cement Mixer Driver at Heartland Readymix in 2012, a heavy equipment operator/truck driver at Universal pressure pumping in 2013, and as a Tower Tech in 2016 as well as various other positions.
He was preceded in death by his father Dennis O. Ditty, his Maternal grandparents, Henry A. Decker and Beatrice J. Decker, Paternal Grandparents Leroy And Phyllis Ditty, his Aunt Karen S. Decker, and numerous great aunts and uncles. Jeff is survived by his Mother Arlene J. Stoyer of San Angelo, TX; Stephanie A. Kiefer (sister) Eric Kiefer (brother in-law) and her children Ashton Casey, Ethan Casey, Bella Casey, Owen Casey of San Angelo, TX, as well as Eric's children Taylor Flaherty and Clayton Kiefer of Indiana. Toni Myers (sister) Adam Myers(brother in law) and their children Devin Myers and Dalen Myers of Michigan. Lori Pyne(sister) and Jason Pyne (brother in law) and their children Nolenn Pyne, Trystan Pyne and Quintion Pyne of Michigan, Joseph Adams (brother) of Pennsylvania and several cousins. James M. Decker (uncle) and wife Bobbijo Decker (aunt), Gary Decker (uncle) and wife Becky Decker(aunt) all of San Angelo, TX. Life long friends, Troy Murphy, Ricky Flores, and Nia Tarrance, as well as his childhood friend, Kyle Conn of Grove City, PA.
Jeff touched many lives and he will be missed but not forgotten. His wings were ready but our hearts were not. There will be a celebration of life on Sat, AUG. 15, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Rafter Cross Cowboy Church in San Angelo, there will be a Celebration of life book that you can include memories and a message to Jeff and family.
