Jody was born March 5, 1947 in San Angelo, Texas to Harold and Calline. He was older brother to Bess Ann and Redgy and little brother to Harold Dee and father to Kevin.
He is survived by his only son Kevin, as well as his sister Bess Ann, and his brother Redgy. He is also survived by his best friend and companion Mortimer the Pit Bull. Jody had numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
He was a bit of a local legend in West Texas if you played pool in the area. Odds are he taught you a lesson you never forgot. He stayed active with the past time of billiards and enjoyed running local tournaments as well as spending the evening just shooting 9 Ball with friends. He is also going to be missed by the local racing community. He loved drag racing and circle track. He may be best known for his club On The Strip. He had the foresight to bring Pantera to On The Strip before they were the Pantera we know today.
He never seemed to know a stranger and had a funny story and a smile for anyone who would sit and talk with him for a few minutes. He will be missed by family and friends alike. Our lives are better for having had him with us , even if it seems too short a time.
There will be a memorial pool tournament at the Lone Wolf Pub today {Sunday} March 15th at 3:00PM. A portion of the proceeds will be used for Jody's funeral arrangements.
Thank you to the Lone Wolf Pub. Jody would be so proud and happy that you all thought so much of him. Please leave any memories that you may have with us. We would love to read them. Thank you all -The Family of Jody Hall
