On Friday, October 11, 2019, Robert Waller, a.k.a. “King Bob’o”, loving husband and father, peacefully passed away at the age of 68.
Bob’o was born on July 7th, 1951 in San Angelo, Texas to Herbert and Wanda Waller. He graduated from San Angelo Central High School in 1969. After high school, Bob’o proudly served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Bob’o worked in several fields throughout his life, however he was best known for his time at Bill’s Man Shop.
Bob’o had a magnetic, charming, witty and optimistic look on life which made him loved by many. He had a gift of putting a smile on everyone’s face that he encountered.
During his spare time Bob’o enjoyed gardening and traveling with his wife Robyn Waller and watching the Cowboys (Go Boys!!). He also made great memories during game nights with his close friends.
Bob’o was proceeded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Robyn Waller. His two daughters and their families: Jade Waller and Chad Spruell of Austin, Texas and Tiffany and Willie Oliver of San Antonio, Texas and Granddaughter Miaya Oliver. Additionally, 2 sisters and 2 brothers: Kathleen B. Neal of Chilhowie, VA, Herbert Waller, Jr. of Grapevine, TX, William Waller of Austin, TX and Tamara Ragus of Dallas, TX and his extended family.
The family would like to give special thanks to Steve Fowler, Tom Ridgeway, Hospice of San Angelo and Cooking for Christ for all their support during this trying time.
A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
