At a young age he began selling groceries for a local store and eventually would own his own grocery store. He would go on to open his own Texaco Gas Station but would close this store and go to work in the oilfield. Ray worked for numerous oil field companies driving a truck over the years but 12 years ago started Ray Reyes Trucking Company where he worked until recently.
Ray married Gloria Arroyo Reyes on December 9, 1978 in Big Lake, Texas, and they shared 42 beautiful years together. Ray was a loving husband, father and grandfather who devoted his life to his family. He was a very hard working and reserved gentleman, who also had a very strong faith in the Lord. In his spare time, he was a Crucillista and enjoyed being at home with his family.
