Malcolm K. King, 84, of San Angelo passed away on December 3, 2018 at his residence.
He was born on July 27, 1933 in Cushing, Texas to Paul and Ethel O. King. Malcolm attended high school in East Texas and later graduated high school in Corpus Christi. He married Glenda Whitlock Woodward on August 20, 1999. Malcolm worked in construction and in the oil field. He was employed with Western Oil Co. and later retired from B.J. Oil Company in Rankin. Malcolm served in the US Army and was a member of Beacon Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Glenda of San Angelo; daughter, Melody Labry of Corpus Christi; son, Bryan Whitlock of San Angelo, as well as two grandchildren, Clayton and Ian Whitlock. He is also survived by his brother, Sherman D. King and wife Jeannie of Aransas Pass and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 3 PM in Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel.
