Julius Orsak, 95, of San Angelo, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018 in San Angelo.
He was born, one of eight children, to the late, Jim Frank and Emma Olsovsky Orsak on September 7, 1922 in Schulenburg, Texas. Julius served in the United States Army during the World War II, where he was at the Battle of the Bulge.
He married Elizabeth C. Boehm on March 20, 1954 in Veribest, Texas. Julius worked over 40 years farming with 4 generations of the W.J. Halfman family farms. He believed in family and working hard.
Julius was a man of Christian faith. He loved to laugh. He had an independent streak and strong will. Julius’ giving nature and loving spirit will be missed greatly.
He was preceded in death by his parents (listed above); and siblings, Alfonse “Tex”Orsak, Jerry Orsak, Willie Orsak, Edith Hudec, and Alfred Orsak.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Elizabeth Orsak; brother, Raymond Orsak; sister, Frances Thomason; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
There will be a time of visitation held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 14th at Johnson’s Funeral Home of San Angelo.
Graveside services will be held at 1p.m. on Wednesday, August 14th, at Belvedere Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson’s Funeral Home of San Angelo.
