Juan (Johnny) Rodriguez Nava, age 58, of San Angelo entered his heavenly home on Tuesday, May 15th.
He was born June 11, 1958, the loving son of the late Ramon G. Nava and Irene Rodriguez Nava.
He graduated from Central High School. Johnny worked at San Angelo Independent School District for 36 years before retiring. Johnny was a devoted son to his parents, he truly loved his mother. He was the foundation of support to his brother, sisters, nieces and nephews. His greatest quality was the joy he gave others with his smile and conversation; he never met a stranger.
Johnny was an avid sports fan and die hard Houston Oiler Fan.
He is survived by his mother, Irene Nava; sister, Betty Garcia, her children, Emiliano Garcia, Blanca and Robert Canava, their children, Jalynn and Adelina; sister, Bunnie Villarreal and husband Alex, their son, Jeremi Villarreal, his children, Brycen, Taylor, and Keeli; sister, George Trevino and husband Adam, their children, Michael Trevino and wife Miriam, their children, Briana and Mickey, David Trevino and wife Stephanie, their children, Etienne, Emma, and Ezio; brother, Ramon Nava, Jr., his children, Justin, Jessica, Jackie and Johnathan; sister, Lupe Nava, her children, Christina and husband Nazario Barrera, their children, Ruben Vasquez, Leia Fierro, Anthony Castro, Amy and Eli Barrera as well as many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 26, at 10 a.m. at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel.
