He grew up in Morrisonville, Illinois, and graduated from Morrisonville High School. Ed served his country honorably in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Ed married Micki Jones on October 17, 1980, sharing 37 beautiful years of marriage. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who adored his family, and loved teasing his grandchildren. Ed also had an incredible faith in the Lord and served over 13 years on the board of directors for Lakeview Bible Church. He relished camping trips with his family loved instructing his girls on how to “properly pack” for the trips. Although Ed had a quiet manner about him, he was meticulous in nature and loved teaching his girls how to become successful and making sure everything was always taken care of appropriately including the importance of always arriving early. Our beloved husband, father, and Papa will remain in our hearts forever and he will be dearly missed.
