Marvin Gene Kiser, 66, passed away in San Angelo on Sunday, July 2nd, 2017. He was born in San Angelo, Texas to Marvin and Nelta Kiser on December 21, 1950. Marvin worked as a long-haul truck-driver in the gas and oil business for many years. His fun loving spirit will be missed greatly.
He is survived by his mother, Nelta Kiser of San Angelo, his brother Randy Kiser and wife Margie of Paint Rock, his daughter Stephanie Sanchez and husband Fred of El Paso, his son Tommy Kiser and wife Marissa of San Angelo. His wife Bonnie Kiser of San Angelo and two stepsons, Rick Swarts and wife Judy of Leander, Ray Swarts and wife Angela of the Cayman Islands. He has 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of floral tributes, the family requests that you honor Marvin by doing as he would and take a friend or loved one out to have fun. He believed that you only have now to enjoy the time you have left on this earth with the people you care about. However, if you choose to donate money then please donate it to Hospice of San Angelo or your favorite charity.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the Hospice of San Angelo for all their help and support, especially to his nurse, Alana Roeder, for going above and beyond of just being a nurse with a job to do, and his Chaplain Mike Andress for answering all of his questions and helping us through his journey.
There will be a time of visitation from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Johnson's Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 5, 2017. Graveside funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 6, 2017 in the Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Family and friends are encouraged to share memories, send condolences and sign the online guestbook at www.johnsons-funeralhome.com . Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson's Funeral Home of San Angelo.
