Daniel Dean Brillhart, age 57, passed away on December 7, 2016 in Shannon Hospital surrounded by loved ones. Danny, as he was known to his family, was born December 26, 1958 in Emporia, Kansas.
After graduating from Central High School, San Angelo, Texas, Dan worked in the oilfield, trucking industry, and hotel guest services prior to becoming disabled. He was a member of Baptist Temple Church, now known as Lifepoint Baptist Church, where his father pastored for 29 years.
Dan was known for enjoying debating religion and politics with family and friends. His nieces and nephew will remember Uncle Danny fondly as the doting uncle who was always up for a play session, cuddles and over-the-top gifts at Christmas when they were children.
Danny was predeceased by his father, Neal Brillhart and great-niece, Jupiter Hernandez. He is survived by his mother, June Brillhart; sisters Nealla St. Clair (John) and Juanna Brillhart-Bohannan (Bill); nieces Amy Barber and Erin St. Clair-Hernandez (Andy); nephew Shane VanZandt; great-nephews Andrew and Jasper and great-niece Luna.
We draw comfort in knowing that Danny is now happy and healthy with his earthly father in Heaven.
