Pamela “Pam” Griffin Farris, 70, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 in San Angelo. Pam, lovingly known as “JuJu” to most of the world, was born February 4, 1946 in San Angelo, Texas to Buster R. and Novie H. Griffin. She was preceded in death by her mother Novie, her father Buster, two sisters, Bernice “Hoopy” Kilgore and Mamie Allen, and her husband of 22 years, Ed Farris. Pam worked in Special Education for 33 years. JuJu loved her students almost as much as her own children and grandchildren. She enjoyed sharing stories of her students and loved keeping up with so many of them on Facebook, up until her death. JuJu spent the last few years of her life enjoying her retirement and dedicated almost all of that time to her grandchildren. She especially loved going to their sporting events and being a “Taxi Service” for her grandchildren in their pre-driving years. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren including those in her extended family were her world and she was theirs. JuJu’s life and tremendous love for her family and students will remain in our hearts forever and she will be dearly missed by those who loved her. JuJu is survived by one son, Chris Farris (Tanna), two Daughters, Jan Lamarche (Danny), and Jaime Farris (Bobby), all of San Angelo; Six Grandchildren, Cory, Garrett, Kynsey, Meagan, Madison and Brody; Five Step-grandchildren, Whitney, Logan, Chad, Corey, and Kailey; Seven Step- Great Grandchildren; her Brother Larry Griffin (Frankie), of Cotulla, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews and “claimed” Grandchildren who were very dear to her heart. The Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Harper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brady Lock officiating. There will be a private interment.
