Argelia was a proud member of the San Angelo Central High School Band, class of 1979. She loved baking. During the Christmas season, she would bake cookies and goodies to give as Christmas gifts. Argelia loved sports; her Dallas Cowboys, she would go to Thanksgiving Day games when possible; her Texas Rangers, she went to as many home games that she could and attended all the home games of the 2010 and 2011 World Series; her Dallas Stars, she went to games when possible, especially New Year’s Eve ones.
To honor her you are more than welcome to wear her team colors or your team colors or purple. She loved purple.
Argelia loved Country music, especially George Strait and Brook and Dunn and all kinds of Tejano music.
Argelia worked for Sears in her early working years. Later, she was called to work for Red Wing Shoes. She used to be a “floater” manager. That position took her to travel the country. That lead to her being able to travel with her sister and brother to the locations she worked. She finally settled down to manage a store in Carrollton.
