Jimmy was born in Winters, Texas on June 7, 1946 to Hubert and Helen Crenshaw. He married the love of his life April 14, 1964, they had four sons, Jimmy Jr., Jeffrey, John David and Jason. He owned his own business in Ballinger from 1976 until he retired in 2005.
Jimmy Dale Crenshaw was a resilient, industrious man, who held strongly to his family and his values. He spent his days as a solver of problems, both big and small. He was a dedicated and determined man, with a big heart, who knew what it meant to love, and to protect and build for those he cared about. He was cherished and respected by many. His expressive thoughtfulness will be greatly missed. Having lived so consistently and resourcefully, with passion, he’s instilled in generations a sense of purpose and has inspired a sense of hope in all of us. What we take away from his time here is comfort in the knowledge that, despite whatever challenges we may face in this life, who we fundamentally are won’t change. We will persevere. He has shown us that we can. Thank You Granddad. We love you, Kristin.
Jim is preceded in death by his father, Hubert, his mother, Helen, a sister, Darlene and a son, John David.
