June McSpadden passed away peacefully on August 5, 2016 at Shannon Hospital in San Angelo, TX. Born Doris June Green, February 10, 1923, to John Green and Nancy Mercer. After her 1941 graduation from San Angelo High School, she married her childhood friend, and love of her life, C.F. McSpadden on April 14, 1942. C.F. preceded her in death on September 11, 2013. They were both lifetime Methodists and community volunteers. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her youngest son, Keith McSpadden; 4 sisters and each of their spouses. She is survived by her oldest son David and his wife Marilyn and grandaughter Shelly and husband Steve; and great granddaughter Macy Murphree all of Waxahachie; Kevin McSpadden and his family of San Francisco, Jeff McSpadden and his family in New York City. In addition, June is survived by granddaughter Sacha Nobles and husband Tim of McKinney and children, Logan, Deztinee, Jaedon, and Cody; and grandson, Cameron McSpadden and wife Cindy of Dallas and son Corey. Additionally June had one great-great granddaughter, Maliyah and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces. In lieu of flowers, family has asked memoriams be given to the San Angelo Senior Center. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Johnson's Funeral Home.
