Robert R. Serna, 69 of San Angelo, Texas passed away at home peacefully surrounded by his family on June 20, 2016. He was born in Crystal City, Texas on December 26, 1946. Robert graduated from Crystal City High School and received his bachelor's degree in Aviation Engineering from Angelo State University. He was married to Linda A. Serna on December 21, 1968. During his career he worked in the Aviation Department for several companies which included, Texas International, Verizon, and the United States Customs office. He was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church- Knights of Columbus, and had a passion for carpentry. He is survived by his wife Linda A. Serna. His children, Robert (Kristy) Serna, Tricia (John) Carrasco, and Renee` DelGiudice. His grand- children, Mikael Serna, Tyler Serna, Mariessa Carrasco, Elina Carrasco, Bryce Kiser, Christian Kiser. His sisters; Dalia Barrera, Laura Organ, Cristela Reyes, and Angie Reyna. A Rosary will be held Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. in the Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 24, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will immediately follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery of San Angelo.
