Bryan Keith Owen passed away on June 8, 2016 due to a car accident at the age of 35.
Bryan was born December 10, 1980 to Robin Owen Keefe in San Angelo, Texas. He graduated from Central High School in 1999. He was a member of the Central High School diving team, in which he lettered in diving in his Sophomore and Junior year.
Affectionately known as “Shaggy,” Bryan enjoyed working at Texas Roadhouse, the employees and staff were like a second family.
Bryan never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. Family and friends were very important to him especially when he went to the creek for fishing, camping, washer pitching, and relaxing with his Grand-dad. His mom was a very important part of his life and he loved her dearly.
Bryan is proceeded in death by his grand-dad, Milton Owen, stepfather Frank Keefe and loving dog, Ranger.
Bryan is survived by his mother Robin, grandma Cleo Owen, both of San Angelo, wife Patricia Owen, mother-in-law Lynn Hulse, step sisters Allison Cheatham and Jessica Dukes, nephew Logan Dukes, aunts Terry Stracener and spouse Glenn, Kristi Kennemer and spouse Randy, uncle Randy Owen and spouse Sherry, cousins Brooke Stracener, Michael Owen, Brittney Albers, Brandon Stracener and Jimmy Reeves, along with special friends Kenny Smith and Shane Kuykendall and his faithful dog Darma.
Bryan’s cousins and many others will remember him as a daredevil and a free spirit with no fear. His sense of humor will live on forever.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M., Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Harper Funeral Home. The Graveside Service will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 13, 2016 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Scooter McCurdy officiating.
Bryan will be greatly missed by a host of friends who meant the world to him.
