Curtis Edward Lee, Jr. passed from this life March 23, 2016 at home in San Angelo, Texas to return to his Heavenly Father. He was born November 11, 1959 in Enid, OK to Ruth Puryear Lee and Curtis E. Lee, Sr. Curtis was raised and schooled in Andrews, TX and San Angelo. He was baptized at the Second Baptist Church in Andrews and also has attended Lake View Baptist, Word of Life and the Cowboy Church in San Angelo. Very young Curtis played guitar in a small band accompanying Pastor Bryan in Evangelism. He was always an avid fisherman, fishing every lake, creek or stream he could. Curtis loved car races and was part of a pit crew for a while. Curtis worked primarily in the oilfield; as a welder, roughneck and tool pusher. He also worked as an oilfield mechanic as well as a diesel mechanic, and in construction. Curtis was preceded in death by his father, a sister, Donna Tilson, grandparents, Fannie Stewart Puryear-Williams, Robert Lee Puryear, Jodie and Lovetta Lee and J. Lee "Poppa" Williams, as well as many loved family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Ruth Puryear Sellers of May, TX, sister, Patsy VanLeeuwen of Harrisburg, Oregon, and daughter, Kinlie B. "Tinkerbelle" Lee of Midland, TX. Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in the chapel of Johnson's Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Grape Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2016 at Johnson's Funeral Home. "The Lord shall bless his people with peace." Psalm 29:11
