Horace Greaves Andrus, 98 of San Angelo, passed away on March 21, 2016. He was born in San Angelo, Texas to Horace and Dulcye Andrus on December 7, 1917. He was raised in San Angelo, where he graduated from high school in 1936. While going to school, he contributed to the support of his family, after the death of his father, by working on a ranch outside of San Angelo. After high school Horace followed in his father's footsteps and started working on the Railroad as a brakeman for the Santa Fe Railroad.
