Willie Charlene "Maw Maw" Perkins, 68, of San Angelo passed away Friday March 11, 2016 at her home surrounded by her children and loved ones. She was born March 19, 1947 in San Angelo, Texas. She is survived by her three daughters Sanda McNiel of San Angelo, Shella Perkins of Fort Worth, Shara Beard of San Angelo and three sons Billy Perkins of San Angelo, Willie Perkins of Lubbock, and John Perkins of Pueblo, Colorado. She has two sisters Jane Ross and Janelle Allen along with nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening; reading, spending time with her grandchildren, being pampered by her loved ones, and always surrounded herself with the people she loved. Her house was always open to anyone who needed a home and a helping hand. She was a classy business woman who made her own way in the world, and never let anyone make her decisions. She had a heart full of love and knew exactly what to say in any situation. She was not only a mother of six, but a mother to everyone who walked through her door. She was preceded in death by her father William Travis Phillips, her mother Anna Bell Phillips, and her four sisters and two brothers Hazel Booth, Millard Phillips, Ethel Fenwick, Lola Leatherman, Dorothy Miller, and Clyde Phillips. Grave side services will be held on Tuesday 2pm at Harriett Community Cemetery in Harriett, Texas.
