Sylvia Jean Wilson, 89, of San Angelo, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016, with her family at her side. Sylvia was born November 11, 1926 in Six, West Virginia to Frank McKinley Pack and Sally Ila Woodall Pack, and was a graduate of Big Creek High School in War West Virginia. She met and married the love of her life, Max Clinton Wilson, on February 27, 1958. He preceded her in death June 5, 1992. Sylvia worked as an apartment manager with Alexander Construction Company for 29 years and prior to that, was an office manager for Curry Freight. She was a faithful member of Evangel Temple Assembly of God Church and a member of the San Angelo Apartment Association. She had a passion for plants, decorating, flower arranging and her church, where she volunteered as their bookkeeper for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers, Odell Pack and Marvin Pack. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Ann Sneed and her husband Charles "Sam" W. Sneed; granddaughter, Lisa Nicole "Niki" Sneed and her fiancé Brandon G. Sanders III; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 PM Sunday, February 28, 2016, at Johnson's Funeral Home. Services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, February 29, 2016, at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Dewey officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. The family would like to express their appreciation to the Royal Estates Staff and special caregivers who made her a part of their family. In lieu of flowers, family request that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Hospice of San Angelo.
