Roger Edward Boudreau, 82, of San Angelo, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Friday, January 22, 2016. He was born to the late, Leonard and Marie Pelletier Boudreau on August 26, 1933 in Sun Cook, NH. He married the love of his life, Misty Marlene Rhodes on January 1, 1967 in San Angelo. Roger served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He retired after 20 years of service as a Tech Sargent. Roger is a longtime member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. His devotion to his faith was echoed in many areas of his life, for example, he read the Bible daily for the last 35 years. He was known as a stoic man with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed traveling worldwide, watching Fox News and old movies. Roger left a mark on many lives and will be missed greatly. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and brother, Moxie Boudreau.
Survivors include his children, Gene Boudreau, Debbie Boudreau, Lyn O'Tuel, Melody Wall, Bobby Willoughby, and Sarah Greene; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Arlene Brouillette; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
A time of visitation will be held prior to the funeral service, beginning at 2:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 27, 2016 in the Hillcrest Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with military honors provided. Je'na Wall, Richard Wall, Mike Gillett, Larry Gillett, Barron Beacham, and Torian Upchurch will serve as pallbearers. Gary Thompkins will serve as honorary pallbearer.
