Jose “Joe” Garcia Sr. age 82 went Home peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his residence on Thanksgiving Day. The family presented him with his final revival singing joyous songs of praises to the Lord as he descended into heaven. Upon his passing a beautiful rainbow bordered the home as a symbol of God’s glory, protection and love.
Joe was happily married to Dora Garcia for 58 years and together they raised six children upon which they built a Godly legacy for his family to carry on. Joe was a faithful servant of God, a devoted husband, a loving father and grand-father and a friend to many whom he helped through his many ministries. He was a skillful craftsman who was known for his beautiful bird houses that he created each one by hand. Joe faithfully committed his entire life to fulfilling the Lords purpose and gave his children a solid Godly foundation to live by. His most treasured accomplishment was the founding of the “Texas Rival Band” comprised mostly of his sons. They toured around Texas to many churches and events where many were led to salvation through their countless of Revival music ministries.
