Mildred was called home on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 to be with our Lord and Saviour. Micci was born the 2nd day of April, 1931 to Lester LeeRoy Young and Dora Pearl Green Young in Breckenridge, Texas. She attended Lakeview High School in San Angelo and later went on to work for Nathan's Jewelers before becoming a civil servant until her retirement. Her career and her family took her all over the country, from Alaska down to Goodfellow and a few stops in between. Mildred was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Her love and light will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in the Johnson's Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, San Angelo. There will be no set visitation however friends and family may sign the guestbook and pay respects at the funeral home on Monday. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson's Funeral Home of San Angelo.
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die…" – John 11:25-26
Mildred was preceded in death by both of her parents; brothers, Jack Young and R.L. Young; sisters, Lucille Young McNeil and Martha Lee Young Snow. She is survived and will be greatly missed by both her children, Leslie LeeRoy Motl and Susan Motl Knight; four grandchildren, James Knight, Wesley Knight, Clayton Motl, and Lindsey Motl; her great grandchildren and numerous other family, friends, and loved ones.
Let us rejoice in the knowledge that although she has left this earthly world, Mildred will live on for eternity in the glorious kingdom of Heaven. We will see you soon!
