William Curtis Robinson, 81, left his earthly home to be with his heavenly Father on Thursday, October 15, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Curtis was born December 6, 1933 to Irene Canoy Robinson and William Preston Robinson in Mize, MS.
He was considered a "Prince of a Man" by many who knew him and was not bashful about sharing his faith in God. He will always be remembered for his sweet smiles and genuine concern for others.
Curtis attended school in Shaw, MS and married the love of his life, Irene Kennedy on June 1, 1952. They celebrated 63 wonderful years together.
He was a deacon for many years in churches he attended in Greenville, MS, San Angelo, TX, and Tupelo, MS, as well as the church secretary for over 20 years. Curtis retired in 2007 from AutoZone, Inc. after 30 years in management and 20 + years Presidents Club and in 2008 moved back to San Angelo to be near their children.
He is survived by his wife, Irene of San Angelo, his son Michael Robinson and wife Kathy of Big Spring, TX, his daughters, Rhonda Robinson and Renee Jenkins both of San Angelo, grandchildren Michael Clark Robinson (Jennifer) of Shelton, WA, Austin Robinson (Dianne) of New Berlin, WI, Rachel Riviello (Ryan) and Bryan Jenkins (Kristine) of Fort Worth, TX, Julie Mullins (Brad) of San Angelo, Jennifer Wright of Lubbock, TX, and Jeremy Wright (Samantha) of Leavenworth, KS, 9 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and his beloved dog, Zoe. Siblings include Marie McDonald of High Point, NC, Delma McGaugh of Hattiesburg, MS, and Emmit Robinson (Eleanor) of Swanton, MD. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James Opal Robinson.

Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 PM Sunday at Johnson's Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, October 19, 2015, at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Bryan Jenkins, Ryan Riviello, Dean Jenkins, Brad Mullins, Kelley Ullrich, Jeff McGaugh, and Jeremy Wright.
