Eva Bargas Ruiz crossed over on Monday, October 12, 2015 to meet her Creator. She peacefully passed away at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas. She was born August 6, 1940 in San Angelo, Texas to Vicente and Inez Bargas. She was a beautiful, loving wife and mother. Eva loved God and her family very much. Eva will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Eva loved to play the piano, loved to paint and to work in her garden with her beautiful flowers. Eva married Joe Arispe Ruiz, the love of her life on September 21, 1961.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Arispe Ruiz of Killeen, Texas; her two sons, Vic Leija of Austin, Texas and Joe Benjamin Ruiz of San Angelo, Texas; and her beloved sister, Janie Daniels of Odessa. Preceding her in death were her parents, Vicente and Inez Bargas of San Angelo; brother, Noe Bargas of San Angelo; and grandparents, Nicolas and Sixta Esquivel.
A time of visitation and prayer will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, October 16, 2015 in the Johnson's Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held at the Christian Church of San Angelo (C.C.S.A.), 4064 S. Bryant Blvd., San Angelo at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 17, 2015. Interment will follow in the Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. The family would like to invite guests to join them for fellowship following the services at the CCSA's Fellowship Hall.
