Georgia M. Williams, of San Angelo, passed from this life on Thursday, October 8, 2015.
Family and Friends may call at Johnson's Funeral Home for open visitation Saturday and Sunday. Graveside Service will be held 12:30 Monday, October 12, 2015, at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Pastor Lachan Mariano of College Hills Baptist Church, officiating. Georgia's grandsons and great grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Georgia was born January 12, 1920 in Callahan County, Texas to Luther and Rhoda Cutbirth. In 1941, she married Bob L. Williams of Abilene, Texas. She moved to San Angelo in October 1971, where she owned and operated Pauline's Sportswear until March 1979.
Georgia was active in Rolling Hills Garden Club, Victory Study Club, Newtimers' Club, Gideon International, and College Hills Baptist Church until her final illness. She knew Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and Lord. She loved her family and her many friends and prayed for each of them.
Survivors include her children, daughter, Janice Mize and her husband Bob of Wilson, Texas; son, Randy Williams and his wife Barbara of Bastrop, Texas; son, Roger Williams and his wife Judie of Sterling City, Texas; grandchildren, Charles Mize of Ropesville, Texas, LeAnn Mize of Lubbock, Texas, Jeremiah Williams and his wife Leslie of Leander, Texas, Amanda (Mandi) Williams Bush and her husband George of Austin, Texas, Jessica Williams Bicknell and her husband Jordan of Dallas, Texas, Anna Williams of Dallas, Texas; 8 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, five sisters and three brothers.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caregivers and staff at the Greenhouses at Sagecrest for the compassionate, loving care they extended. Should friends desire, Memorials may be sent to the Greenhouses at Sagecrest or to a favorite charity.
