Daniel Cuellar Soto was only 53 years of age when the Lord called him home. Daniel lived a life full of happiness and laughter. He knew a love we could only imagine. He was friends with all who knew him; creating a unique bond with each. Daniel attended Central High School and spent his days working to provide for his family. He took pride in his work; even in his last days, he begged to leave the hospital and go back to work. Daniel worked at Coke-a-Cola for 15 years and as a member of the surgical team at Shannon Hospital for the remainder of his life. He was blessed to work around an amazing health care team, whom later became a part of his family. They always took special care of his health; for this the family is eternally grateful. He spent his spare time coaching and mentoring the youth of San Angelo, one of his greatest passions. Daniel gleamed with pride at the sight of his children and grandchildren. He loved playing at the park with his grandchildren, fishing with his daughter, and watching football with his son. With all the chaos of life, he never strayed from his family and paid special attention to his parents and siblings. Most of all, he was deeply devoted to his wife who stood by his side for 33 years. Daniel was a victim of his best trait. Daniel survived many years past his predicted time. He had a heart larger than any doctor had seen and he used that heart to love deeper than anyone had ever felt.
Daniel is survived his wife, Irma Garcia Soto, son, Adrian and his wife Meagan, daughter; Sasha Soto and special friend Xoan Cardenas; grandchildren, Ella and Landry Soto; his mother, Rosalinda Soto, sisters Lisa Soto, Cynthia Perez and fiancé Johnny Lopez, his brother, Ricky Soto; mother in law, Eufemia Garcia, brothers & sisters in law, Ray Jr. & Susan Garcia, Leo & Lupita Garcia, Eddie & Josie Garcia, Chris & Veronica Garcia, Linda & Joe Flores, Yolanda & Oscar Agundis, Tina & James Sosa, Lena & Mark Rivera; and many extended family members and friends.
