Linda Sue Burrows, 67, of San Angelo, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 14, 2015.
Linda was born July 22, 1948 in Arkansas but was raised and spent most of her life in San Angelo. She was a graduate of Lake view High School and Angelo State University. In her early years, Linda was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family. She was always active in her son's school activities volunteering her time for the PTA, carnivals and other school activities. In her later years she was a Librarian at the West Branch Library for several years, worked as a cashier and in the hotel industry, and was most recently a cashier at Walmart. Linda was an animal enthusiast and loved horses. She enjoyed horseback riding and trail rides, and founded the Fair Weather Riders in 1991 and they participated in Rodeos, Stock Shows and Parades for many years. She was also a craft enthusiast and enjoyed making jewelry and participating in craft fairs. She was the longest running member of the San Angelo Craft Guild. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. Linda is survived by her loving family, her son Michael Burrows and his wife Amanda and her granddaughter, Sierra Burrows, all of San Angelo. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, September 21, 2015, at Johnson Funeral Home. A Celebration of Her Life will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel
