Belia Ramirez Aguero, 66, of Big Lake, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at her residence. Rosary will be 7 PM Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church in Big Lake. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, August 26, 2015, 11:00 AM at the St. Margaret's Catholic Church, with Father Prem Thumma, officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Rest Cemetery.
Belia was born on December 20, 1948 in Rankin to Francisco and Luz Gonzalez Aguero. She married Octaviano Aguero in July of 1971. She had a very good sense of humor, and a kind and caring heart. Belia was always joking around with her jokes. She always had a nickname for everyone she knew. Belia was a very outspoken woman who spoke her mind. She was full of life. Her favorite color was purple. Belia always made sure she turned a frown into a smile. She enjoyed her grandchildren, they were her life. She loved to play robbers and cars with her youngest grandson Drake. They called each other “Best Friends” when they played on a daily bases.
Belia is survived by: son Octaviano Aguero Jr. and wife Flor, of Big Lake; daughter Rebecca Aguero of San Angelo; brother Francisco Ramirez, Jr. of McCamey; sisters Dominga Martinez of Big Lake and Angelica Villa of San Angelo; 9 grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Aguero, Gabriel Jacobo, Jonathan Jacobo, Jesus Sylvester-Tovar, Juan Villa Jr., and Jose Chavez.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Octaviano Aguero, brothers George Ramirez and Pedro Ramirez, and sisters Anglica Ramirez and Maria Ramirez.
Belia will be missed very dearly; she brought the sunshine to everyone’s face. She will always have a special spot in our hearts.
